It’s Monday [yet again] and a happy one at that!  Today was day one back at work and I’ve just gotta say I am SO beyond blessed to have two jobs that I LOVE!  Court reporting/captioning and photography.  I caption for the deaf and hard of hearing at college campuses and enjoy it so much!  In the summer when school is out, I take depositions (which I don’t love so much lol) all while doing photography on the side until I can do it full-time because photography is where my heart is at.  Anyway, I was actually looking forward to today.

Here’s a photo of the view from the classroom i took on my phone during the break.

And although I love my jobs, there are still aspects of my life that make me deeply resonate with this quote.  I need to pin this to every wall in my house.

But on a lighter note, here’s some funnies to help you through the day.  Man this is SO me!

I don’t know why this is so funny to me.  It’s actually kind of sad. ha

bahahhahaah i will so do this!

  Happy Monday!

Well, it’s Friday, and time for this week’s highlights!

1) Excited to finish editing this wedding I second shot with Shiela Angel Photography
2) My moccs.  I was in search for moccs for quite some time, but none were as comfy as they looked.  Until I found these.  They’re on my feet daily.   As you can tell by the look of them =/
3) Tried a new recipe!  Spinach risotto topped with parm.  I’m really diggin’ this whole new-recipe thing.
4) I know I said I’d have a photo of my fauxdenza my dad was helping doing  for me, but it need a few finishing touches so I picked someone else in my home to share with ya’ll.  This DIY “hello” sign my mom made.  Easy peasy.  Went to Home Depot, grabbed what looked good, nailed it on the wall and my mom freehanded “hello” with the same color that’s on my accent wall.  Bam.  P.s. Aren’t Lola + Lacey the cutest white puff balls?!
5) Looking forward to finally getting a fridge this weekend!  We’ve been using a mini because we haven’t had a truck to pick up a reg size one.

Have a great weekend and share a highlight from this week below!

The weather here has been ridiculous.  One day we’re freezing reaching record lows since the ’70s and the next day the sun is shining and it’s the perfect beach day.
Thankfully, the day Corey and I decided to go out last week was pretty gorgeous and the sun came out to play!
Here are some of my favorites!

Oh, glorious light!
*side note*
This photo makes me laugh.  Corey was staring at a man who was staring at me while i was singing a dont-go-away-glorious-light song.I love this photo for it’s simplicity.Oh, Lord, this light!!Adore this set

Corey, I hope one day way down the road you look back at these and remember this time in your life with much happiness!
I had so much fun, thanks for being up for all my ideas and chasing the sun with me!

i can remember back to my childhood and remember very clearly how every MLK Jr. Day went.  My mom would turn on a MLK Jr. documentary and my mom, along with me and my 3 older brothers, would watch it and have a discussion afterwards.  Every year.  I think it’s so important to not just enjoy the day off, but remember why we have it off.
And in honor of MLK Jr, my inspirational quote for the day comes from him.  [which i made in cs5.   let me know if you’d like it as a free printable!]

I just love that quote so much!
Another thing I love so much….is this Christian pick-up line!  Somebody PLEASE use this and let me know how it goes! hahahI found this next funny when I was on my East Coast vacay in August last year.  The humidity was awful….I felt just like this feller below. And last, but not least, anyone who knows me knows I WebMD my symptoms like crazy….which make me go crazy.  One of my 2013 resolutions was to lay off the self-diagnosing 😉

Happy Monday!!
